Alumni Database
The Alumni database includes graduates of the Bellevue Hospital Medical College prior to its 1898 merger with NYU, as well as the graduates of the NYU School of Medicine and its institutional predecessors ( University Medical College, University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College, NYU College of Medicine). The database is a work in progress, and new names are constantly being added. Coverage to date: 1842-1940.
For the years 1842-1907, the source of data for the alumni is the General Alumni Catalogue of New York University, 1833-1907. Medical Alumni published by the General Alumni Society in 1908.
Current alumni should visit the Office of Alumni Relations web site for information on events, class notes, benefits of membership, etc.

Faculty Database
The Faculty database includes information on the faculty of the institutional predecessors of the NYU School of Medicine (University Medical College, Bellevue Hospital Medical College, and University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College) from 1839 until 1908. The source is the General Alumni Catalogue of New York University, 1833-1907. Medical Alumni published by the General Alumni Society in 1908, supplemented with information from the American National Biography. Where possible, information relating to publications by these faculty members is provided, as are any photographs available from our image database.

Images from the Archives
The image database contains photos, illustrations and some objects from the collections of the NYU School of Medicine Archives, and relate to the topics of the School of Medicine, the NYU Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital and the Bellevue Hospital Medical College, among others. These images, many from the 19 th century, are of individuals, groups, buildings, ev ents and activities, such as an operation. The database is a work in progress, and files are regularly added.
