Exhibits

The Archives mounts exhibits showcasing elements of the history of NYU Langone. Past exhibits have included the 50th Anniversary of the Salk Polio Vaccine (Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin were alumni), Nursing, and different institutes within NYU Langone, such as the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and the Rusk Rehabilitation Institute.

Our online gallery preserves exhibits displayed in the halls of the School of Medicine, as well as exhibits created solely for the online viewer. Both types of exhibits are drawn primarily from the holdings of the Lillian and Clarence de la Chapelle Medical Archives, but also borrow relevant materials from other sources.
