Portrait of Nathaniel Bristol Van Etten, MD (1866-1954). Dr. Van Etten received his MD from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1890. The printed caption beneath the photograph read, “DR. NATHAN B. VAN ETTEN, chairman, Bronx Committee, Medical Alumni Division of New York University-Bellevue Medical Center Fund.” A handwritten pencil note below reads, “Class of B. 1890.”
