Dr. Gregory taught at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Medical Diseases (1918-1924) and Professor of Psychiatry (1924-1937) before becoming Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at New York University College of Medicine (1937-1941).

Rowland Godfrey Freeman

Portrait of Rowland Godfrey Freeman, Sr., MD (1859-1945). Dr. Freeman taught in the Pediatrics department of University Hospital and Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1898 to 1930 and was then Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics from 1930 to 1945. From 1898 to 1911, he served as Chief of the Pediatric Clinic.

Mr. Clausman became the librarian of the New York University Medical Center in 1955 and in 1959 was appointed Library Curator until his retirement in 1986. Among his many accomplishments in the field of medical librarianship, he served as president of the Medical Library Association and spearheaded the transformation of the NYU Medical Library into an academic department with faculty status for librarians.
