Carte de visite portrait of William Henry Welch, MD (1850-1934), as a young man. Dr. Welch taught at Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Pathology from 1878 to 1884.

Carte de visite portrait of Alfred Charles Post, MD (1806-1886). Dr. Post taught at University Medical College as Professor of Anatomy beginning in 1838, and then as Professor of Professor of Principles, Practices & Operations of Surgery from 1851 to 1875. He later served as Professor Emeritus of Clinical Surgery.

Carte de visite portrait of Beverley Robinson, MD (1844-1924). Dr. Robinson taught at Bellevue Hopsital Medical College as a clinical lecturer on Heart, Lungs, and Throat (1877-1882) and a Clinical Professor of Medicine (1882 to 1898). In 1989 he became Clinical Professor of Medicine at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College.

Carte de visite portrait of William Thompson Lusk, MD (1838-1897). Dr. Lusk received his MD from University Medical College in 1864. He taught at Bellevue Hospital and Medical College as Professor of Obstetrics from 1871 to 1897. Lusk’s famous obstetrics textbook, The Science and Art of Midwifery, was published in 1882.

Carte de visite portrait of Edward Lawrence Keyes, MD (1843-1924). Dr. Keyes received his MD from University Medical College in 1866. He became a Lecturer and then Professor of Syphilology and Genito-Urinary Surgery at Bellevue Hospital Medical College (1871-1889).

Carte de visite portrait of John Frederick Erdmann, MD (1864-1954). Dr. Erdmann received his MD from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1887. He taught as Professor of Practical Anatomy at Bellevue Hospital Medical College and University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1895 to 1899.

Carte de visite portrait of Gasper Griswold, MD. Dr. Griswold received his MD from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1879. He taught in the Bellevue Hospital Medical College Third Division as Assistant to the Chair of Diseases of the Nervous System (1880-1884) and Demonstrator of Anatomy (1884-1886).
