David Wechsler

Image of David Wechsler, MD (1896-1891), seated at a table, conducting a test on a patient. Dr. Weschler served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medical and Clinical Psychology at New York University College of Medicine from 1941 to 1947 and Associate Clinical Professor of Medical and Clinical Psychology from 1947 to 1955. He later served as Clinical Professor of Clinical Psychology (1955-1971), Professor of Psychology (1971-1975), and Professor Emeritus of Clinical Psychology (1975-1981) at the New York University School of Medicine.

William Emory Studdiford

Portrait of William Emory Studdiford, MD (1867-1925). Dr. Studdiford received his MD from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1891. He taught as an Adjunct Professor of Gynecology at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1914 to 1919 and held the position of Chief of Clinic in the Department of Gynecology. Studdiford was the father of Dr. William E. Studdiford, Jr., Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University College of Medicine and director of Bellevue Hospital’s obstetrical and gynecological service for 19 years.

William L. Watson

Marvin Stern

He became an Assistant in Psychiatry at NYU in 1947, and then taught as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (1948-1962), Professor of Psychiatry (1962-1979), Menas S. Gregory Professor of Psychiatry (1979-1995), and Professor of Emeritus of Psychiatry (1995-2003).

Bert L. Vallee

Portrait of Bert L. Vallee, MD. Dr. Vallee received his MD from the New York University School of Medicine in 1943. He was the Paul C. Cabot Professor of Biological Chemistry at Harvard Medical School.
