Inscribed “With very best wishes from California, for my good friend Howard Fox, Harry Everett Alderson. 1930.” Dr. Alderson served as Professor of Dermatology and Syphilology and department chair at Stanford University Medical School from 1912 until his retirement in 1944.

Signed portrait of [Fil Augy], MD, inscribed, “To the distinguished dermatologist Dr. Howard Fox, with the appreciation and best wishes of his friend, [Fil Augy. Rosario, 28 May 1936.”
