Two women physicians working in a Bellevue Hospital laboratory. The doctor on the right is Elaine Pandia Ralli, MD (1894-1968). Dr. Ralli received her MD from University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1925. She taught at New York University College of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Medicine. Ralli was an authority on diseases of metabolism and nutrition and a recipient of the Elizabeth Blackwell Citation for outstanding achievement as a woman in medicine.

Photograph of William Holme Van Buren, MD (1819-1883) set in illustrated frame. Dr. Van Buren taught at University Medical College as Professor of Diseases of Genito-Urinary Organs and Venereal Diseases (1851-1852) and Professor of Anatomy (1852-1866). He then taught at Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Surgery from 1868 to 1883.

Signed illustrated portrait of William Holme Van Buren, MD (1819-1883. Dr. Van Buren taught at University Medical College as Professor of Diseases of Genito-Urinary Organs and Venereal Diseases (1851-1852) and Professor of Anatomy (1852-1866). He then taught at Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Surgery from 1868 to 1883.

Carte de visite portrait of Robert Ogden Doremus, MD (1824-1906). Dr. Doremus received his MD from University Medical College in 1851. He taught at Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Chemistry, Toxicology, and Medical Jurisprudence from 1861 to 1897.

Carte de visite portrait of James Rushmore Wood, MD (1816-1882). Dr. Wood served as Professor of Operative Surgery and Surgical Pathology at Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1861 to 1868 and as Professor Emeritus from 1868 to 1882.
