Portrait of Henry Honeyman Hazen, MD (1879-1951). Dr. Hazen was an important dermatologist who taught at Howard University Medical School from 1911 to 1944 and served in many public health roles within United States government.
Photograph of William D. Halliburton, MD, FRS (1860-1931) standing in a lecture hall. Dr. Halliburton held the position of Herter Lecturer on Pathological Chemistry at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1903 to 1904.
Portrait of Daniel Bartholomew Kirby, MD (1891-1953). In 1940, Dr. Kirby was appointed Professor of Ophthalmology at the New York University College of Medicine.
Photograph of the dedication ceremony for a painted portrait of Richard M. Hyman, MD, taken in the study room of the medical school library. Dr. Hyman received his MD from New York University School of Medicine in 1941. The inscription on the plaque of the painting reads, “In fond memory of Richard M. Hyman, MD, 1915-1967, President, Centennial Class of 1941. Presented by his classmates.”

Signed portrait of Hermann Gustav Klotz, MD (1844-1928). Inscribed, “To Howard Fox, with kind regards of Dr. Hermann G. Klotz." Dr. Klotz was a dermatologist closely associated with the German Hospital and Dispensary of New York.
Portrait of William Henry Welch, MD (1850-1934), dressed in academic regalia. Dr. Welch taught at Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Pathology from 1878 to 1884.
Portrait of Luther Emmett Holt, Jr., MD (1895-1974). Dr. Holt taught at the New York University College of Medicine as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics from 1944 to 1960, and at the New York University School of Medicine as Professor of Pediatrics from 1960 to 1972. Acclaimed for his international pediatric work improving nutrition and childcare, Dr. Holt founded the Society for Pediatric Research.
