Gina Sidoti, RN pin from NYU is circular and silver-toned with a dark violet outer ring. The center features the NYU seal with the words “Perstare et Praestare” - which is To Persevere and To Excel. The outer ring is inscribed with text "New York University MDCCCLXXXI." 1831 is the year NYU was founded.
