According to Robert Carlisle's history of Bellevue, An Account of Bellevue Hospital, the House Staff of 1890 (two groups, each for six months) included Group I - Edwin K. Losee, Samuel Cummings, David H. McAlpin, Jr., James H. McIntosh, William N. MacArtney, Royal W. Pinney, William B. Arnold, Theodore Dunham; and Group II - Stewart Paton, Marcos M. Rodriguez, Austin Flint, Jr., W. Evelyn Porter, Herbert L. Constable, Walter C. Wood, George D. Stewart, and Morton R. Peck. There are more than 16 men in the photo, but their additional names and roles are unknown.
