Exterior view of tents on the Bellevue Hospital grounds, facing west, with the old Administration Building centered in the distance. These tents were erected to house the overflow of epidemic patients being treated at the hospital. A Bellevue nurse can be seen wearing a uniform dating from the second half of the 19th century.
