Description
A view of the NYU Medical School building from across the street. The time period could be the 1930's or 1940's. Originally built for the Bellevue Hospital Medical College, NYU acquired the property in 1898 when the two schools merged. In the bottom right of the photograph is a large building with columns. This was NYU's 28th Street building, acquired from Cornell's Medical College in 1931.
