Portrait of Benjamin William McCready, MD (1813-1892) standing beside a table. Dr. McCready served as Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics at Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1861 to 1872 and as Emeritus Professor from 1872 to 1886. He also served as Professor of Hygiene & Toxicology at University Medical College from 1852 to 1853.
