Portrait of Arthur Canfield Upton, MD (1923-2015). From 1980 to 1992, Dr. Upton served as the chairman of the Department of Environmental Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. He became Professor Emeritus of Environmental Medicine in 1992.

Dr. Standard received his MD from University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College of New York University in 1924. He was appointed professor of Clinical Surgery at New York University School of Medicine in 1962.
