Head-and-shoulders portrait of David Wechsler, MD (1896-1981). Dr. Weschler served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medical and Clinical Psychology at New York University College of Medicine from 1941 to 1947 and Associate Clinical Professor of Medical and Clinical Psychology from 1947 to 1955. He later served as Clinical Professor of Clinical Psychology (1955-1971), Professor of Psychology (1971-1975), and Professor Emeritus of Clinical Psychology (1975-1981) at the New York University School of Medicine.

Portrait of John Elmer Weeks, MD (1853-1949). Dr. Weeks taught at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College of New York University as a Lecturer and later Clinical Professor of Professor of Ophthalmology and Otology. He served as the head of the Department of Ophthalmology from 1901 to 1921.

Image of Alfred Vogl, MD (1895-1973) from p. 47 of the 1954 NYU Medical Violet yearbook. Dr. Vogel joined the faculty of the New York University School of Medicine in 1941 as a clinical instructor in medicine, becoming a full professor in 1960.

Portrait of Robert Ward, MD (1908-1972). Dr. Ward held the role of Professor of Pediatrics from 1949 to 1958 at the NYU School of Medicine.

Portrait of William Emory Studdiford, MD (1867-1925). Dr. Studdiford received his MD from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1891. He taught as an Adjunct Professor of Gynecology at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College from 1914 to 1919 and held the position of Chief of Clinic in the Department of Gynecology. Studdiford was the father of Dr. William E. Studdiford, Jr., Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University College of Medicine and director of Bellevue Hospital’s obstetrical and gynecological service for 19 years.

Portrait of Cornelius Travers Stepita, MD (1897-1982). Dr. Stepita held the role of Professor of Clinical Urology at New York University School of Medicine.

Portrait of William Law Watson, MD (1900-1977). Dr. Watson held the position of Associate Professor of Surgery from 1948 to 1957, and served as director of a tumor clinic for the care and study of cancer patients at Bellevue Hospital.

Image of Marvin Stern, MD (1938-2003) from p. 56 of the 1954 NYU Medical Violet yearbook. Dr. Stern received his MD from New York University College of Medicine in 1939. He became an Assistant in Psychiatry at NYU in 1947, and then taught as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (1948-1962), Professor of Psychiatry (1962-1979), Menas S. Gregory Professor of Psychiatry (1979-1995), and Professor of Emeritus of Psychiatry (1995-2003).
