Portrait of Milton Irwin Roemer, MD (1916-2001). Dr. Roemer received his MD from the New York University College of Medicine in 1940. He later became Professor of Public Health at the UCLA School of Public Health. In 1980, he received the Alumni Achievement Award from the NYU School of Medicine.

Signed portrait of Henry Granger Piffard, MD, taken in February 1905. Dr. Piffard taught at University Medical College as a Lecturer of Urinary Analysis (1873-1875) and Professor of Dermatology (1875-1898). He then became Professor of Dermatology at University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College as Professor of Dermatology from 1898 to 1899, and Emeritus Professor in 1899.
Portrait of Frank H. Netter, MD (1906-1991). Dr. Netter received his MD from University and Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1931. He was the foremost medical illustrator of the twentieth century. His works include the Atlas of Human Anatomy and The CIBA Collection of Medical Illustrations.
Photograph of a bust of Walter Reed, MD (1851-1902), located at the Hall of Fame for Great Americans on the campus of Bronx Community College. Dr. Reed received his first MD from the University of Virginia and 1869 and his second from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1873. His important work includes his research on the transmission of yellow fever during his time as a physician in the U.S. Army.
