Reproduction of a painting of Samuel Leidesdorf (1881-1968). Mr. Leidesdorf joined the board of the New York University Medical Center in 1948, initially serving as the Chair of the Building Committee. He served as Chairman of the Board from 1956 until his death in 1968.
